From May 21 to 23, 2025, a three-day training workshop titled “Capacity building of National Partners in Data Analysis and use of Statistical Tools for Agriculture Research” was held at NARC, Islamabad, under the Fertilize Right Pakistan project. USDA, ICARDA; International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas, CGIAR, and PARC collaborated to help scientists from 12 national partner institutes build practical skills in analyzing agricultural data and using statistical tools.
The training was led by Mr. Saleem Abid, Program Leader of the Statistics and Computing Program at NARC, with valuable support from ICARDA’s expert team. Participants gained hands-on experience working with mTab software, alongside learning about descriptive statistics, regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, and data visualization, all applied to real farm trial data.
This workshop was more than just learning statistics. It strengthened collaboration among research partners and will enable more accurate, data-driven decisions to support farmers across Pakistan.
We’re proud that Concave AGRI served as the exclusive commercial partner in this initiative, working together with the Government of Pakistan and all partners to promote smart, sustainable farming through technology and innovation.
