Promoting Healthier Soils for Wheat Farming in Khanewal!

A Farmer Field Day was organized in Khanewal under the Fertilize Right Pakistan Project. Led by the Soil Fertility Research Institute, Lahore, and supported by USDA, ICARDA; International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas, CGIAR, the Government of Pakistan, and Concave AGRI as the exclusive commercial partner, the event focused on sustainable farming practices.

The session highlighted the benefits of efficient fertilizer use, including sulfur-coated urea and other organic fertilizers, for rain-fed wheat farming. Farmers learned how these fertilizers improve soil fertility, enhance moisture retention, and boost crop yields naturally while reducing the environmental impact.
