The Concave AGRI team was part of a recent field visit to Chakwal organized by Soil and Water Conservation Research Institute, Chakwal (SAWCRI), promoting the Fertilize Right project—an initiative by US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS), ICARDA; International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas, and the Government of Pakistan.
This visit focused on integrating green manuring practices into the rain-fed wheat-based systems of Punjab. The event brought together local farmers and agricultural experts for an insightful gathering, where best practices were shared to enhance soil health and improve crop productivity. A hands-on field visit further enriched the farmers’ understanding, helping pave the way for more sustainable and efficient farming techniques. Together, we’re committed to fostering a greener and more resilient agricultural future.
