We are thrilled to announce the successful commencement of our two-day training program for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS)-funded ‘Fertilize Right’ project, in collaboration with ICARDA; International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas and the Government of Pakistan. Held at PGRI, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Islamabad, this comprehensive training aims to equip our implementing partners with essential skills for effective digital marketing and content creation.
Day 1 began with an introduction and orientation session, setting the stage for the importance of a strong digital presence. Participants were guided through the process of establishing and optimizing social media profiles and engaged in practical sessions on photography and videography basics. These skills were then put to the test in an engaging field activity, where participants applied what they learned to document agricultural practices in real-world settings.
To support ongoing learning, we shared training manuals with participants through easily accessible QR codes, providing them with valuable resources for future reference. Stay tuned as we continue to empower our partners with the tools and knowledge needed to promote sustainable agriculture practices to a wider audience. Together, we are making a difference!
